Red Bull have bid farewell to technical director Geoff Willis, who left the team in the wake of their British GP success. Willis joined Red Bull mid-2007 and played a large role in their recent success, which has seen Sebastian Vettel bag two races this season, elevating Red Bull to second in the Constructors' Championship. However, the former Williams, McLaren and BAR-Honda man has now left the team. A team spokeswoman told Autosport that Willis had left "his job had become redundant."
